Blood Vessels
Blood vessels are the hollow tubular structures which help in flow of oxygenated blood from heart to the body parts and than brings back deoxygenated blood to the heart. Their are basically three types of blood vessels which differ from each other on the basis of structure, properties and functions.These vessels can be understood easily by comparing them with each other as given below in the table :-

| Carry deoxygenated blood except the pulmonary artery which carries deoxygenated blood to the lungs | Carry deoxygenated blood except pulmonary vein which carry oxygenated blood from the lungs | Carry both oxygenated and deoxygenated blood and exchange it with body parts. |
| Carry high blood pressure which also prevent back flow of blood | Carry low blood pressure so the back flow of blood is prevented with the help of valves | Low blood pressure and slow flow of blood |

Eg :- Aorta - The biggest artery in the body and pulmonary artery. |
Eg:- Superior Vena Cava, Inferior Vena Cava and pulmonary vein | Present as a network around many parts of the body , it can be cell or organ. |
